Reporting to the Vice President of Medical Affairs, the CMIO will serve as the liaison between the clinical staff and the information technology department. The CMIO will support the CIO in the continued integration of information technology into hospital and ambulatory practice settings to promote the highest possible quality, safety, and evidence-based patient care. This physician leader will have responsibility for physician engagement, adoption, standardization and optimization of clinical systems and clinical informatics. 90% of the responsibilities of this role will be dedicated to CMIO duties, with 10% being dedicated to clinical practice.

Requirements: BC in specialty with 3 – 5 years of CMIO or similar experience in a multi-hospital delivery system. Experience with the implementation and operation of EPIC. Master’s Degree in related field and/or Advanced Degree in Informatics, and BC in Informatics is strongly preferred.
