Quality Assurance and Training Analyst
Salary or Pay Range: $29.69 - $40.95 Hourly
The QR & Training Analyst ensures the highest quality output from the Professional Billing Department by conducting regular Quality Reviews on the work of the Patient Billers, providing feedback, as well as planning, developing and conducting training in both group and individual settings.
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position.
- Demonstrated expertise with the EPIC Resolute billing application and its functions
- Strong knowledge and broad understanding of third party professional billing, including but not limited to Medicare, Medicare HMO, Medi-Cal, Managed Care Medi-Cal, major commercial and workman’s compensation payers
- Experience with a variety of reporting and data organizational tools and other software applications including, but not limited to MICROSOFT EXCEL, BUSINESS OBJECTS, MICROSOFT WORD, POWER POINT, VISIO and OUTLOOK.
- Experience supervising and/or training medical billing staff on a variety of professional billing functions
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience/training
- Experience supervising and/or training medical billing staff on a variety of professional billing functions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, specifically, the ability to delineate clear, concise and comprehensive instructions and directives
- Ability to work cooperatively and constructively with other employees and with the administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supervising and/or training medical billing staff on a variety of professional billing functions.
- Public speaking skills and experience facilitating group discussions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
