Company History
1991: BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
The International Institute for Drug Development (ID²) was established in Brussels (Belgium) in 1991 by a team of experts in clinical research, biostatistics, and biomedical computing. Since its inception, the company has targeted the needs of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for optimal trial design, cost-effective trial conduct, and reliable clinical data analyses.
ID² expanded its client base in France and opened an office in Paris to ensure proximity to its French clients. The company then extended its range of services by providing data management services out of the Paris office, while the biostatistics and randomization team remained headquartered in Brussels. Today, all tasks are operated in Louvain-la-Neuve, South of Brussels, in Belgium.
2001: CAMBRIDGE, MA, US
The company entered the US market and was renamed IDDI, International Drug Development Institute. An office was opened in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to offer sophisticated web-based services for clinical trials supported by a dedicated help desk to cover the American time zones.
2011: HOUSTON, TX, US
IDDI opened a new office in Houston Texas in April 2011.
